How are they important for all living things? Natural resources are things we get from nature like water, air, soil, and sunlight. They are important because they give us what we need to live, like food, water, shelter, and energy. 2. What is the difference between renewable resources and non-renewable resources? AnsRenewable resources can be replaced or used again, like sunlight and water. Non-renewable resources cannot be replaced easily, like coal and oil. 3. Name two renewable and two non-renewable resources. Renewable: sunlight, wind. Non-renewable: coal, petroleum. 4. Write a short note on conservation of natural resources. Conservation of natural resources means using them wisely without wasting, so they do not run out and future generations can also use them. Time to Think (HOTS) Q1. We must conserve our natural resources. Ans.Because they are limited and if we waste them, we may not have enough for the future. Q2. Some resources cannot be used in their natural form.
